Support this family owned business! The quesabirria tacos are so flavorful. I have tried many other birria taco places and no one seasons their birria meat or makes tasty consome like Auroras. And their tamales taste like your abuela made them. We drive over 30 minutes for these tacos. You won’t regret eating here!
This place has amazing Birria tacos!!! I have to order them whenever I come here to see my sister. I tried the mini taco plate today with beef fajita meat and they’re very good as well. Great customer service and great food!! They cater parties as well!
Friendly and fast service. The tamales are great and have a good amount of meat inside. The Birra tacos are FIRE! I asked for light cilantro and ended up not getting any cilantro or onions... but it was still top notch. Will be even better next time with the onions. Been looking for some good Birra tacos and just found out they're right down the street from the house. Ill obviously be back again. 5 star
Aurora’s Kitchen – The Best Authentic Mexican Food in the Austin area! We drive over 30 minutes almost twice a week just to eat at Aurora’s Kitchen, and it’s always worth it! Every dish we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious—this place never disappoints. It’s hands-down the best authentic Mexican restaurant from South to North Austin. Hands down the best birra plates and tamales we've ever had in my life-including my grandma's. The food is made with love, and the flavors are as authentic as it gets. On top of that, the service is outstanding! Alberto always goes above and beyond, making every visit feel special. You can truly feel the warmth of this family-owned restaurant, and that’s what makes it even more special. If you’re looking for real Mexican food with incredible flavors and top-notch service, Aurora’s Kitchen is the place to go!
Aurora's is fantastic! My family has been eating here for going on two years now and their food is always great quality. We started eating here when we went to the Mexicano Grille next door and they forgot an order of nachos. We popped into Aurora's and ordered one. Night and day difference! Aurora's provided lots of toppings that covered all of the chips. The other restaurant gave cheese and beans on the top layer of chips. The service at Aurora's is exceptional as well. Always friendly and welcoming. We have tried the nachos, tacos, birria, drinks, and tortas. The barbacoa and watermelon drink are my favorites. Down side of working from home is that it's become a tradition of mine to come here once every two weeks or so. Not great for my wallet but great for the soul. It took me a little bit to figure out where it was but it's definitely worth a stop in!
The staff was very courtesy and helpful. I want sure about the menu and they were able to walk me through the items thoroughly. It took a little time to prepare our order, HOWEVER, we'll wish the wait. I feel in love with the flour birria. AMAZING!!And the dipping sauce, so good. I'm not a fan of tamales, but my husband really enjoyed them. Overall, our new ho to spot for great authentic Mexican food. The queso is good, but it has a good kick. Be ready.
Quietly tucked away in the lil food mart but the food screams with flavor! Food comes out looking better that the menu pics....and the servings are humongous . Don't sleep on this spot! Whew....I'm full #chickennachos #mexicanburger
I walked here from the truck stop. The man helping was super nice. Great customer service!! And the food was SO GOOD I came 2 days in a row. I was here on a reset. I will definitely come back when I’m in town.
